HRT’s High Performance Computing team designs and engineers the massive global infrastructure that underpins our GPU and CPU compute clusters.
Our mandate is to architect, optimize, and scale the high-performance infrastructure that power HRT’s globally distributed, on-prem data centers. We build and operate tightly integrated compute, storage, and networking systems that deliver low-latency access, massive throughput, and efficient utilization at scale, enabling both rapid growth and sustained peak performance for HRT’s most demanding computational workloads.
Systems, Software, and Network Engineering at the AI Frontier
We specialize in cutting-edge network, storage, compute, and power optimization solutions, and work on problems similar to the biggest names in AI—including large data sets, RL, pre-training, and inference optimization. We process market data from over 200 exchanges, plus hundreds of text, news, and social sources, amounting to datasets that dwarf those of most LLMs. We are an industry leader in applying AI to stock trading, and our team is rapidly expanding our compute and storage footprint to keep HRT at the forefront of technical innovation in quantitative trading.

High Performance Computing Opportunities at HRT
Hardware Strategy & Technology Partnerships Lead
We are seeking a Hardware Strategy & Technology Partnership Lead to bridge the gap between hardware engineering and the technology supply chain. In this role, you will be the primary architect of HRT’s relationships with OEMs, ODMs, and silicon vendors. The ideal candidate understands the CSPs’ business models and how they differentiate, and possesses the expertise to navigate both the bare-metal world and the hyper-scaler ecosystem to ensure HRT always has a competitive edge in compute power and efficiency.
GPU Systems Engineer
We are seeking GPU Systems Engineers to help scale and evolve our exceptionally sophisticated HPC/AI research environment. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize large-scale distributed GPU compute clusters, identify and resolve GPU workloads’ performance bottlenecks across compute, storage, and networking layers, and work on HPC/AI cluster design and performance tuning, including troubleshooting and automation for thousands of nodes.
HPC Network Engineer
We are seeking an experienced HPC Network Engineer with deep experience in designing, deploying, and scaling networks for large-scale HPC environments. This position requires deep technical skills, along with the product leadership and vision needed for the future of cloud-scale networking. You’ll have broad responsibilities and freedom to analyze and solve big-picture problems, as well as contribute to both the management and technical nitty-gritty of our computing architecture to enhance the performance and capacity of the network.
